The first phase of the Sharon Towers Master Plan, the renovation of 13,000 square feet of commons and dining venues, is closely followed by the phased construction of three small 18-unit villa apartments with secure under-building parking. For the younger and more active senior, villa apartments have many of the same attractions as a single-family home while also effectively utilizing limited buildable area without resorting to a large apartment building. The plan maximizes a compact, 11,670 SF building footprint with six apartments per floor and each apartment still having exposure on two sides and a private, corner balcony. In today’s competitive market the villa apartment enables the owner to proceed with development in more manageable and lower risk increments.
