The second phase of the Sharon Towers Master Plan is the phased construction of several, 18-unit villa apartments with secure under-building parking. For the younger and more active senior, villa apartments have many of the same attractions as a single-family home while also effectively utilizing limited buildable area without resorting to a large apartment building. In today’s challenged market the villa apartment enables the owner to proceed with development in more manageable and lower risk increments.
Villa residents will also appreciate the villa apartment’s home-like scale, garage parking, outdoor living, multiple exposures and the opportunity to create smaller affinity groups within the community. Limiting the building footprint to no more than six apartments and three floors produces a comfortably scaled building with a high percentage of homes with multiple exposures and the opportunity to allow light to penetrate deep into the inside. Generous porches, strategically located at the outside corners for better access, light distribution and privacy, allow residents to connect to the outdoors.
