The Hampton Inn & Suites - Phillips Place is one of Charlottes finest and busiest hotels. Located in the upscale South Park area of Charlotte the existing front entry of this 124-room hotel was plagued with operational issues and lacked the welcoming grandeur appropriate to the local European Village, mixed-use setting.  Stewart & Conners Architects was commissioned to develop an efficient and hospitable front door and lobby sequence, all while the hotel remained in operation. Additionally, SCA was asked to provide a 2700 SF, conference room addition with associated pre-function and prep areas, and, parking all within the existing small site.
