Brian brings to SCA a wealth of experience from his decades-long career in architecture and design.  His broad knowledge base includes master planning, interiors and full-spectrum project planning/design services across multiple disciplines: retail new construction, retail/office up-fits, senior living communities (independent, assisted and skilled nursing), health care, mixed-use, residential, and multi-family. Brian has also spent considerable time in the field on project sites during all stages of construction, giving him an extensive understanding of site planning, construction types, building systems, code requirements, and quality control.  He has served as an Owner’s Representative on several projects and is a Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) and Certified Document Technician (CDT). Most recently, Brian achieved accreditation by the Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ) and is a Registered Interior Designer in North Carolina. In his free time, Brian enjoys working on his various automotive projects, following all things Pittsburgh, attending concerts, checking out craft breweries, traveling and spending time with his wife and their two Jack Russell terriers.
