Scope:

Identified as an area of need through a comprehensive master planning process, Luther Crest has embraced the challenge of addressing their aging Personal Care and Skilled Nursing offer.   With original construction dating back to 1989, and recognizing that total replacement was not a viable alternative, SCA worked with Diakon Planning and Development and Luther Crest leadership and staff to creatively and sensitively transform their Personal Care and Skilled Nursing into a warm and inviting residential environment. Stressing continuity in the physical environment across the continuum, together we focused on blurring the lines between their Independent Living, Personal Care and Skilled Nursing offers.  Why should Skilled Nursing have to look like Skilled Nursing?
